It can get awfully hot in the summer in Kansas–especially in July. That’s why the best time to get out on the prairie is right at sunrise and sunset. I’m not an early riser, typically, so most of my “golden hour” photographs have been taken in the evening. This set, however, is an exception as I forced myself to get out on the prairie right as the sun was coming up.
